Managed Services for infrastructure where uptime is not negotiable.
Day-to-day stewardship of the SCADA, building automation, and controls systems your facility runs on. A small, senior team on retainer for monitoring, tuning, hardening and answering the phone at 2 a.m. so your operations team doesn’t have to.
Three practices. One retainer.
At ACRI Services and Consulting, our managed services and development practice delivers experienced professionals, proven processes, and purpose-built solutions across three core disciplines: Project Management, Application Development, and Field Support.
We don’t sell software seats or a help-desk queue. Managed Services means a senior computer engineer on retainer with hands on the controls layer of your facility and a phone that gets answered.
01 / Project Management
Project Management
Effective project management is the difference between a technology investment that delivers results and one that drains resources. ACRI provides structured, disciplined project management across complex technical initiatives ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder expectations are aligned at every phase.
What’s in scope
- Project Initiation & Discovery
- Planning & Scope Definition
- Execution & Coordination
- Monitoring & Reporting
- Close-Out & Transition
02 / Application Development
Application Development
Off-the-shelf software rarely fits the complexity of industrial operations, regulatory requirements, or unique business workflows. ACRI designs and develops custom applications that solve real operational problems, from SCADA front-end interfaces and data dashboards to enterprise workflow tools and mobile field applications.
What’s in scope
- Requirements Analysis
- Architecture & Design
- Iterative Development
- Integration & Testing
- Deployment & Training
- Ongoing Support & Maintenance
03 / Field Support
Field Support
Technology succeeds or fails at the point of installation and operation. ACRI’s Field Support services place qualified, experienced technical professionals in the field to handle installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing operational support. We are always working to ensure your systems perform as designed in real-world conditions.
What’s in scope
- Mobilization & Site Preparation
- Installation & Construction Support
- Commissioning & Startup
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
- Ongoing Operational Support
- Documentation & Turnover
A managed-services lifecycle that earns its retainer.
Four phases. The first ninety days are about earning the right to be on retainer. After that, the work compounds.
PHASE 01
Assess.
Deep audit of the controls layer. We document what’s deployed, what’s drifted from design intent, and what’s at risk before steady-state work begins.
Baseline & risk register
PHASE 02
Stabilize.
Remediate critical findings such as unsupported firmware, missing backups, undocumented changes. We eliminate inconsistencies and create processes that best support your objectives.
Remediation log
PHASE 03
Operate.
Day-to-day accountability. Weekly trend reviews, monthly governance touchpoints, 24/7 on-call. The boring middle, run by senior people you know you can trust.
Monthly ops report
PHASE 04
Optimize.
Quarterly we step back. Energy savings, sequence improvements, retirement of orphan points, capacity to scale. The work the in-house team never has time for.
Quarterly improvement memo
Three ways to put us on retainer.
All three tiers come with the same engineers. The difference is cadence, response time, and how much of the work is proactive versus reactive.
Tier 01 · Reserve
On-Call
Reserve capacity without an active retainer. Quarterly health check plus emergency response when something breaks. For lean operators who want a relationship in place before they need it.
Tier 02 · Standard
Retainer
A fixed monthly block of senior engineering hours, weekly trend reviews, and on-call coverage. The default tier for most owners with a single facility or small portfolio.
Tier 03 · Full Service
Embedded
A named senior engineer 40 hrs / week on your team, on-site as needed, with a backup engineer on standby. For large campuses, energy operators, or programs where you need someone effectively on payroll without the headcount.
Application Development
Turning Operational Data into Actionable Intelligence
SCADA and Building Automation Systems generate enormous amounts of real-time operational data. Without the right application layer, that data sits in historians and control systems, and is largely inaccessible to the people who need it most. ACRI designs and develops custom applications that surface the right information, to the right people, at the right time.
ACRI develops applications with a practical understanding of the environments our clients work in, including oil and gas, pipeline and midstream operations, airports, school districts, industrial infrastructure, and building automation-related settings already identified across the site.
We understand the project, operational, and technical side of these environments, and we focus on tools that are useful in the field, usable by stakeholders, and aligned with the way owners and operators actually work.
- Custom Operational Dashboard: Custom web-based or desktop operations dashboards that aggregate SCADA data into a single, role-specific view displaying real-time status, trending data, alarm summaries, and KPIs in an intuitive layout designed for fast decision-making.
- Historical Data Reporting & Analysis: Custom reporting applications that connect directly to process historians to automate report generation, delivering production summaries, efficiency metrics, event logs, and trend analysis on a scheduled or on-demand basis.
- Alarm Management & Notification: Intelligent alarm management applications that apply rationalization logic, priority tiering, and escalation workflows, with automated notifications delivered via email, SMS, or mobile app.
- Energy Management & Optimization: Energy management applications that pull real-time and historical BAS data to display consumption by zone, system, or time period — with benchmarking, setpoint deviation tracking, and cost modeling tools.
- Tenant & Occupant Comfort Reporting: Reporting applications that link tenant service requests with BAS trend data, such as temperature, humidity, CO₂ levels, and airflow, to validate conditions and identify recurring problem areas.
- Preventive Maintenance & Equipment Health: Maintenance management applications that consume BAS equipment data to track run hours, cycle counts, and fault histories against maintenance thresholds — triggering automated work orders and maintenance calendars.
- Multi-Site Portfolio Monitoring: Multi-site aggregation applications that normalize and consolidate data from disparate BAS platforms into a single enterprise dashboard for portfolio-level oversight.

Capabilities Across All Applications
Regardless of the use case, every application ACRI develops is built with a consistent set of principles:
- Secure by design: Role-based access, encrypted data transmission, and authentication standards applied from day one.
- System-agnostic integration: Compatible with major SCADA and BAS platforms through standard and proprietary protocols.
- Scalable architecture: Built to grow with your operation, not to be rebuilt when requirements change.
- User-centered design: Interfaces designed around how your people work, reducing training time and improving adoption.
- Ongoing support: ACRI remains a development partner after go-live, not just a one-time vendor.
